Konnect Kitchens Pty Ltd ABN 19 690 374 602 trading as Anytime Grinder Hire (AGH, we, us, our) is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We also voluntarily comply with these standards to protect customers who provide sensitive identification information. This policy applies to all personal information collected through our website, booking system, and equipment hire operations.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following personal information: (a) Identity information: your full name, email address, phone number, and a copy of your driver licence (for identity verification); (b) Payment information: processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card numbers; (c) Booking information: hire period, product selections, access code usage logs, and timestamps; (d) Technical information: IP address, browser type, and analytics data collected via cookies (see clause 9).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to: (a) process and manage your hire booking; (b) verify your identity and issue your access code; (c) communicate with you about your booking via email and SMS; (d) comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; (e) investigate damage, loss, or disputes arising from your hire; (f) improve our services through aggregated, de-identified analytics. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to your hire booking without your consent.
4. Identity Verification — Driver's Licence
We require a copy of your driver licence to verify your identity before issuing an access code. This is used solely for identity verification to mitigate the risk of fraud and equipment misappropriation. Retention: Driver's licence images are retained for 90 days from the completion of your hire period, after which they are permanently deleted. This retention period covers the bond dispute window. Legal basis: Collection is made under our legitimate interest in protecting our equipment assets and under the obligation to verify hirer identity as a condition of hire. We handle driver's licence information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and have regard to the Identification Information Sharing Act 2023.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your personal information is stored using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. We use the following services for data storage and processing: (a) Supabase — database and file storage (servers in the US; see clause 6 for cross-border disclosure) (b) Stripe — payment processing (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified) (c) Resend — transactional email delivery (d) ClickSend — SMS delivery (e) Seam — smart lock access management We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access.
6. Overseas Disclosure
Some of our third-party service providers store or process data outside Australia. 7. Access Codes and Smart Lock Data
We record access code generation, delivery, and usage events for security, audit, and dispute resolution purposes. This includes the time and date codes were generated and used. This data is retained for 90 days post-hire and then deleted.
8. Marketing Communications
We may send you booking-related communications by email or SMS as required for your hire. We will only send marketing communications if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time by contacting us at hello@anytimegrinderhire.com.au or by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
9. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including: (a) Google Analytics 4 — to understand how visitors use our site (analytics cookies); (b) Meta Pixel — to measure the effectiveness of advertising (marketing cookies). When you first visit our site, we will ask for your consent to set non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings. Essential cookies required for site functionality are set without consent.
10. Notifiable Data Breaches
